okay so i might as well get day 3 done today as well and then catch up with day 4 later today.

The book is "Death in the Haymarket: A Story of Chicago, the First Labor Movement and the Bombing that Divided Gilded Age America "

Its not as well written as i hoped it would be but its a great book about the stuggle of the left in Chicago and the growth of the early trade union movement at the time. Also it tells us what really happened on the first Mayday and how it came about in its modern form.

Also the author has done a 20min speech on his book on an Album called "Long live the Anarchist Revolutionaries" by a band called "Louis Lingg and the Bombs" (you will get the name reference if you read or listen to the track.

The link is:

http://www.jamendo.com/en/track/20588

so this week i turned 32 and i had an awesome birthday. Bobby treated me like a King for the day and i had a lovely meal and a night in a swanky hotel (even though the room service was shite)
I spent the rest of the week doing not much. My only real day to myself was Wednesday which allowed me to recover from the exertions of Monday in time for a gaming session with John on Thursday after my root canal treatment at the dentists.
The root canal went very well and i didn't feel a thing. I have to go back on Friday for some of my fillings which should be fun, but at least i will get a lie in and a shorter working day.
Friday i went to see the Watchmen and i should have had the day to myself but i got in from johns at 4am and went to bed at 5am (ish) so i didn't have long to myself.
Now its back to work on Monday and im not looking forward to it. The only thing that made my job the slightest bit interesting was that i could listen to my walkman all day, now thats gone its a really really dull job.
ON a brighter note luc has a job so yay for her
